I was lucky enough to visit this summer as part of the 60th Ann of DDay tour with Static Line/Don Lassen. Your party for the US Airborne veterans and guests was the perfect finale for our historical trip. The band played Glen Miller tunes and the British people were marvelous hosts. The visit to Quorn and the service in the chapel in Oadby were First Class. Thank you for a trip down memory lane that I will never forget. Send your veterans to Colorado Springs,CO and we will show them a good time too. CHEERS!

Hello Quorn. I have tried at various times to get a messaage to my village. This is Barbara Neal and anyone that is a real Quornian will know the name. I have been over her in America since 1977, but Quorn is always my home. Recently, I made contact with Ann Wheldon through this website - she and her husband visited me in America and it was wonderful. Anybody who reads this and remembers me, please feel free to e-mail me.
