Buying Experience!! J Wakerley & Son In the heart of the village, Wakerleys have been supplying Christmas fare for many decades. This year you can chose a luxury best fruit Christmas cake in either of two finishes - traditional royal icing or soft icing, in a variety of designs. This traditional rich fruitcake is still made according to Grandad Wakerley's recipe book from the finest quality ingredients. Another must from Grandad's recipe book is the gingerbread house, coated with chocolate on the inside and finished with glace cherries on the roof. Yule Logs are now available. These chocolate enriched sponges have chocolate filling and rum, with a chocolate fudge finish with marzipan log ends. And of course do not forget your mince pies! Like all Wakerley's products these are made with the finest ingredients. The mince pies, available in packs of 6 or 8, are suitable for vegetarians. Enough of cakes, two sizes of Christmas Puddings will be available. These are made to an improved version of Great Grandma Sarah's recipe, with plum vine fruit soaked in brandy at their heart. These are made with vegetable fats so are suitable for vegetarians. They also come in a reusable basin, which is ideal for microwaving. the individual novelty cakes and biscuits - Truffle Puds, Festival Logs,
Santa Whirls, and many more, or a portion of Rich Christmas slab with

of this year. There are no steps into the premises, providing excellent access for
the disabled. Keep an eye on the studio window for special Christmas offers and gift ideas, with vouchers available for most photographic services. The firms aim is to give customers a first class, reliable and personal service. Clients are welcome to drop in to the studio (office hours), to discuss their photographic needs or make an appointment outside of office hours. deVOL has just completed the most extensive catalogue of freestanding kitchen furniture in existence, enabling clients to design their own kitchens. This has attracted independent retailers in the south of England who recognise the high quality and comparatively low prices. In addition, with retailers in California now stocking deVOL furniture, this small Quorndon based company seems set to become a major employer of local craftsmen. deVOL's workshops on Farley Way have grown from a single unit in 1999 to occupying a large part of the estate to keep up with the growth in demand for furniture. deVOL's High Street showroom displays examples of its kitchen furniture,
which has recently been complimented by a broad range of the best kitchen
accessories available. deVOL now has the largest stock of Bridgewater
in Leicestershire as well as decorative kitchenware from other well known
English, Italian and French Potteries. For a unique gift for a discerning

Pine and Decoratives invite customers, old and new, to view (and purchase)
from Quorn's largest range of giftware from around the world. There must
be few people in the village who have not spent a very pleasant half hour
or so, wandering around the many rooms at Quorn Pine, so come and select
your presents from this year's range of gifts. 
Following
on from the success of previous years Corner House Interiors have again
opened their highly acclaimed Christmas Shop. New in this year are a range
of German handcrafted wooden decorations along with the usual array of
hanging ornaments ranging from the traditional to the more modern. You
will find table decorations, candles, and Christmas giftware in a genuine
Christmas setting. Just the sort of place to browse and take your time
to select your Christmas items.

unisex salon open 6 days a week, open late on Fridays until 8pm. To prepare
