Can you help? I have been seeking any information on Quorn gasworks for over a year now and to date have received only one reply - and that came from someone who doesn't even live here! The gasworks, down by The Brinks, was a small undertaking but also one of the earliest supplying a location of Quorn's size. If you know of anyone (investor, employee, supplier) or anything (photographs, gas bills, newspaper clippings etc.) that can throw more light on the subject (no pun intended) I would be delighted to hear from you. Any information - would be very welcome. Interested readers might care to refer to "Bygone Quorn in Photographs", which carries a somewhat distant view (photograph 217) of the gasworks at an unspecified date.
