Remembrance Sunday

Remembrance Sunday this year is on I0th November, and there will be the traditional service for alldenominations in the Parish Church at 10.30.

Everyone is most welcome to attend this service.

Members of the Royal British Legion, and any other ex-service men or women who wish to join in are asked to assemble on the Station Road Car Park at 10.10 for the short march to the church.

Other members of the congregation are asked to be in their seats by 10.15, so as to avoid clashing with the arrival of the parade at the church door.

We hope the Scouts, Guides, Cubs, Brownies and other young people's organisations will join the parade in the same large numbers as in previous years.

Royal British Legion members unable to parade should arrive in the church by 10 15 and are asked to wear their membership badges and medals so that they may be recognised and shown to suitable seats.

Following the service there will be a parade from the church to the War Memorial, where wreaths will be laid and a short silence observed.
